Watercolor

More watercolor birds from Carla Sonheim's tutorial - this one went out as part of the MailArt365 project.  Sorry for the lousy photo, the card has already gone out in the mail so taking another was not an option.

These are cards done practicing my color theory, watercolor washes and other techniques for Alisa Burke's Watercolor Bliss online course.

Sketchbook pages

I have been working my way through Alisa Burke's online class, SketchBook Delight, and am learning SO much (I'm also taking her Watercolor Bliss online class).

I have been practicing my line work and drawing objects on my desk and thought that I would share a few of my pages.

I used Pentel color markers, fountain pen ink and black watercolor.

#1 - Spring Flowers #icad

ICAD #1 - Spring Flowers, originally uploaded by O-kami.

So you know, ICAD is Index-Card-A-Day, an art challenge, prompt, whatever from Tammy over at Daisy Yellow.  I did this on on the blank back of the index card, maybe the next one will be on the front - who knows.
